About the position

Perido is seeking a technician for our client, a global giant in the automotive industry. This position is located at their office in Malmö, where the work is conducted on-site.

Your responsibilities

As a technician at our client, you will be an important part of the engine diagnostics laboratory's process systems – the systems that supply the lab with water, fuel, air, and other critical media. You will work both preventively and operationally to ensure functionality, quality, and availability. The role suits you if you enjoy solving problems, taking responsibility, and developing both work methods and equipment.

Your tasks

• Ensure maintenance of equipment and develop preventive maintenance
• Contribute to the development of methods and instructions within maintenance
• Participate in the creation of long-term maintenance plans
• Engage in the section's operational development and OD activities
• Perform work in an efficient and structured manner
• Prepare and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance actions
• Report faults and deficiencies according to established routines
• Document and report results – and support the implementation of routines where they are lacking
• Establish and implement action plans based on data and analysis
• Contribute to continuous improvements within the maintenance area
• Follow safety and environmental requirements for the work area
• Apply and develop PM programs for facility and laboratory equipment
• Perform supervisory tasks as needed and support engineering projects in the lab
• Update process drawings and documentation

Your qualities

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a relevant field who enjoys practical work while also engaging in theoretical problem-solving. As a person, you are self-driven, take initiative, and are accustomed to solving problems in a structured way. You are flexible in your tasks and thrive in an environment where you can take responsibility, contribute to improvements, and ensure high operational reliability in the business.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a relevant field
• Experience from practical work and preferably elements of theoretical problem-solving
• Combines practical skills with theoretical understanding
• Can work independently and take initiative
• Solution-oriented and flexible in tasks
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Education in property management, technical work, or a similar field

Scope and start date

Full-time, consulting assignment until 2026-06-30, with a high possibility of extension. Start date 2025-12-15.
