We are in an expansive phase with many new and exciting projects underway. To our development department, we are now looking for a committed Design Engineer who wants to combine qualified design work with project management and product responsibility.

With us, you will have a central role in the business, where you will drive technical projects in close collaboration with the sales, production, and development organizations.

About the role

As a design engineer, you will create/revise drawings and produce product documentation. You will be responsible for a product group where you implement product improvements and cost savings, as well as maintain and further develop simulation tools for our heaters. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in the team to develop and improve our products, as well as with the sales and production departments in connection with quote requests and the preparation of production documentation. You ensure that the drawings meet both our high quality standards and customer specifications. You will use CAD software such as AutoCAD and Inventor in your daily work.

The role also involves driving certain projects where you are responsible for timelines, resource needs, and reporting, while also being part of the design work.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and revise drawings and technical documentation
• Be responsible for one or more product groups and drive product improvements and cost savings
• Maintain and further develop simulation tools for our heaters
• Actively participate in the development of products and production solutions together with other designers
• Work closely with the Sales and Production departments on quotes and the preparation of production documentation
• Lead and drive projects from start to finish:
• Develop timelines and resource needs
• Follow up, report, and coordinate activities between departments
• Be responsible for the design part of the projects
• Ensure that drawings and solutions meet both internal quality requirements and customer specifications
• Work in a CAD environment, primarily AutoCAD and Inventor

Your profile

Your profile includes a post-secondary technical education in mechanical engineering or a similar field, as well as a few years of experience in design and product development. You have very good knowledge of CAD and basic electrical knowledge. Experience from the HVAC or heating industry is considered a strong advantage.

As a person, you have a great technical interest and a strong desire to develop products. You are structured and communicative, have strong problem-solving skills, and a good eye for detail. You work well both independently and in a team, have the drive to take responsibility, and the ability to drive projects and activities all the way to completion. Furthermore, you are responsible, unpretentious, creative, and flexible.

You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
