Source Food production is a family-owned food company with the business idea of helping our customers with the development, industrialization, and production of various types of food. The products we manufacture include different types of mayonnaise-based sauces, dressings, marinades, soy sauces, baking ingredients, spice blends, and similar items packed in a variety of packaging. We primarily work with customers who have their own brands, product ideas, and sales channels but need assistance with development, sourcing, and manufacturing expertise. The company was founded in 2003 in Sjöbo, where we still operate, with approximately 25 employees and a turnover of about 90 million SEK.

Job Description

In your role as a product and process developer, you will collaborate closely with sales, quality, and production as well as our customers in the development and optimization of both new and existing products and processes. Sometimes in collaboration with our customers, sometimes internally within the company. The projects range from initial idea to finished product in full production.

Responsibilities

- Develop safe food-approved products including their packaging and their potential for industrial production

- Customer and supplier meetings.

- Manage products in our business system.

- Manage internal documents in our quality system.

- Explore and evaluate raw materials.

- Optimize processes and products.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in food and how it is produced. You should have experience from the process and production side of food manufacturing and an interest in how food products are constructed and produced. As a person, you are structured, curious, and self-driven. You thrive in project-oriented work and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You have a strong problem-solving ability and want to combine analytical work with practical recipe development and process optimization. You have the ability to build and maintain good customer relationships and enjoy working closely with customers to understand their needs and generate solutions.

Your experience:

- Relevant university or college education in process or food technology. Preferably an engineering degree.

- Experience in product and process development within the food industry.
