Medical service consists of about 2,100 dedicated employees who offer specialist expertise in everything from laboratory medicine and medical technology to pre-hospital care and research. Imaging and Laboratory Technology (BOLT) is part of the Laboratory Medicine Base area and is responsible for maintaining high medical technology safety through preventive and corrective maintenance.

We work closely with Region Skåne's operations in imaging and functional medicine as well as laboratory medicine. With us, you will have the opportunity to work both operationally and developmentally, participating in everything from investments and procurements to research and development projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of a medical technology engineer, you will work with service and support of medical technology products (conventional X-ray, MRI, CT, among others) within Imaging and Functional Diagnostics.

You will be part of a competent team of engineers, technicians, and specialists responsible for:

• operation, service, and maintenance of medical technology equipment
• procurement and investments in the area
• administrative tasks related to quality systems and method development
• collaboration with both internal operations and external suppliers
• regional tasks in several locations in Skåne may occur.

There are good opportunities for professional development and deepening within imaging and functional technology. Travel and training, even outside Sweden, may occur. Your main placement is in Helsingborg, but travel within the region is expected.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have:

• a bachelor's or master's degree in medical technology, preferably with a focus on imaging equipment or have equivalent experience/education in medical technology, electrical engineering, or IT
• a valid B driver's license
• good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

It is advantageous if you have experience in:

• project management
• working with medical technology systems within imaging and functional medicine
• public procurement.
