Job Description

AFRY is driving the development towards a more sustainable society, and in the area of sustainable buildings, we are now looking for someone who wants to help shape the future of real estate. We work broadly with energy, environmental, and sustainability issues – from energy mapping and energy coordination to environmental certifications, climate calculations, reuse, and strategic sustainability work. We support our clients throughout the entire process, from early analyses and business development to project management, design, and maintenance.

We now want to expand our team within Energy & Sustainable Building with an experienced energy coordinator in Malmö.

Our team currently consists of 7 employees working with Energy & Sustainable Building. We work with energy calculations, daylight simulations, and indoor climate simulations. We also conduct environmental certifications within a range of different certification systems, primarily within Miljöbyggnad, Miljöbyggnad iDrift, Breeam In-Use, and Breeam-SE. We coordinate and perform climate calculations throughout all phases of the building process.

Your Future Role

As part of our team, you will work alongside engaged and competent colleagues who are passionate about creating real change. We collaborate with many different types of clients and help them strengthen their sustainability efforts.

You will have a role where you both contribute your expertise and develop by working closely with other specialists at AFRY, both locally and nationally. Together, we drive projects that make a difference for both our clients and society at large.

Our clients are primarily property owners, property developers, industries, builders, municipalities, and regions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in energy coordination, energy calculations, as well as daylight and indoor climate calculations in IDA ICE. It is advantageous if you have also worked with environmental and sustainability coordination within the construction and real estate industry and hold certifications in, for example, Miljöbyggnad, Miljöbyggnad iDrift, BREEAM In-Use, BREEAM-SE, or other relevant certification systems. Experience as an energy expert and work with energy mapping is also valuable.

Background from assignments in the defense sector or complex hospital projects is also meritorious, where your knowledge can contribute to creating sustainable, reliable, and future-proof solutions.

You are accustomed to independently driving projects for clients and are comfortable selling our services to a constantly growing group of clients. You are driven to develop new services and solutions within the sustainability area. You enjoy working in a team with other employees.

We prefer that you have an academic education, e.g., as a university or civil engineer.

We believe that you value having fun at work, balance in life, and together with us further develop the business. You care about your clients, you are good at achieving profitability in projects, and you enjoy collaborating and sharing your knowledge with others.
