We are looking for a consultant for an assignment at Edument – System Developer/System Administrator (level 4–5)

Edument is now seeking a senior consultant for an exciting assignment where the client needs support in their ongoing migration from VMware to Hyper-V.

The client has made significant progress in setting up the new environment but is continuously facing technical challenges and now needs an experienced consultant who can provide support at short notice. The assignment is suitable for you who thrive in an advisory role, can act as a technical sounding board, and at the same time have the ability to conduct a health check of the entire solution together with the client's technicians before deployment.

Role: System Developer / System Administrator, level 4–5

Start: Immediately

Scope: 20–40 hours

Location: Not yet determined / ongoing dialogue

Price: By agreement

About the assignment:

The assignment involves supporting the client in their transition from VMware to Hyper-V, primarily by:

acting as a technical sounding board for the client's technicians

assisting with troubleshooting in virtualization and IT environments

conducting a technical review / health check before deployment

providing security, structure, and experience in a situation where the client needs qualified support quickly

Must-have requirements:

To be considered for the assignment, you need to:

meet competency level 4 or 5

have experience in migrating from VMware to Hyper-V

have experience in troubleshooting in virtualization and IT environments

be able to act as a technical sounding board and support for the client's technicians

have experience in conducting a technical review / health check before deployment

be able to understand issues related to, for example, gMSA, dependencies in AD environments, and other integration-related questions

Competency levels

Level 4

High generalist competence or very high competence in the field. Has participated in large assignments in the relevant area and delivered assignments with very high quality. This level is typically achieved after 9–12 years as a consultant in the field. Very high independence and accustomed to taking responsibility in larger contexts.

Level 5

Competence of the highest rank in the field and perceived as an expert in the market. Has very long and deep experience as well as extensive experience in leading positions. Very high independence.
