The Community Building Unit has over 20 employees and is primarily located in the municipal building in Bromölla, but also at Bromölla Municipality's recycling center Åsen. The areas of work encompass the entire community building process, from overarching strategic levels to operational detail levels in our outdoor environments. We work with everything from comprehensive planning, detailed planning, land and exploitation, streets/traffic, lighting, parks, mapping/measuring/GIS, waste, recycling to environmental strategic work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Due to extensive digitization work, there is now an opportunity for an additional planner to join an engaged unit for one year, where everyone works with great trust and in a positive work environment.

This project employment primarily involves operationally digitizing/reinterpreting our detailed planning archive. This work is done in consultation with other planners and an appointed steering group. The digitization of the detailed plans is one of several ongoing digitization efforts.

For example, the unit is developing the so-called Bromöllakartan. This work is conducted together with other units in the municipality, where digital detailed plans as well as the municipality's new digital comprehensive plan, which is now to be reviewed, will be parts of. This project employment is therefore an excellent opportunity to work with modern digital urban planning at both comprehensive and detailed levels.

The position is limited to one year. There is an option to work partly remotely.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a person who is engaged and responsible, development and solution-focused. You have a drive to constantly improve the operations in line with the times, based on the new demands and needs that arise in the environment.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in detailed planning and a university education as a planner from Blekinge Institute of Technology, BTH. The position also requires that you have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish. We place great importance on your fit within the workgroup.

Generally good IT skills. Training in relevant systems will be provided at the workplace.
