Production Technician (Programmer) – Milling (GibbsCAM)

On behalf of our client in Malmö, we are now looking for a highly skilled production technician who can CAM program in GibbsCAM for milling. This is not a junior position – we are looking for someone who knows the craft and delivers from day one.

You will work practically close to production with programming, method selection, and optimization. The focus is on producing stable, efficient, and ready-to-run programs.

Responsibilities:

• Programming in GibbsCAM for CNC milling machines

• Adjusting and optimizing programs directly on the machine

• Selecting the right tools, cutting data, and appropriate materials

• Optimizing existing programs (cycle time, tool selection, strategies)

• Support for operators during startup, testing, and troubleshooting

• Reading and interpreting drawings without issues

• Solving technical problems in production

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in milling programming/production technology

• Experience as a CNC operator in milling

• Very good knowledge of GibbsCAM

• Familiar with advanced milling (3–5 axes)

• Strong material and tool knowledge

• Excellent drawing reading skills

• Self-driven, meticulous, and technically sharp
