As an Automation Technician at Tvätt och Textil in Kristianstad, you will play a key role in ensuring that our production lines, control systems, and machines operate efficiently and reliably. You will become an important part of our team, contributing to both daily operations and development projects that improve and modernize our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Automation Technician, you are a key person in ensuring that our production lines, control systems, and machines function optimally. You are responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of our automation equipment, and you will drive both improvement work and development projects.

Your main tasks:

• Troubleshooting and repair of control systems, robotics, conveyor lines, and laundry equipment
• Preventive and corrective maintenance
• Programming and optimizing PLC and HMI (e.g., Siemens)
• Work with sensors, motor control, pneumatics, and electrical installations
• Document performed work and update technical documentation
• Participate in projects for new installations and modernization
• Provide technical support to operators and operations

The position offers a developing and varied technical role in a workplace with diverse systems and dedicated colleagues, as well as opportunities for further education within automation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have at least a completed upper secondary education and/or vocational college/university education with a focus on automation and/or control and regulation technology, or alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. We would like you to have experience working in an industrial automation environment and knowledge of PLCs, sensors, electrical diagrams, and machine control. Good IT skills and experience with documentation are important, and you also have good skills in English.

Qualifications such as experience from the process industry, logistics systems, or laundry operations, as well as knowledge within SCADA, Profinet/Ethernet, or robotics, are meritorious.
