ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Automation Engineer, you will work with programming of PLC systems and automation solutions in various customer projects. You will become part of a project team where you collaborate with colleagues in areas such as design and project management to develop and deliver technically advanced solutions.

You will work through the entire project process, from concept development and programming to testing, simulation, and commissioning at the customer's site. The customers are primarily located in Sweden but also internationally, which means travel may occur in connection with project deliveries.

Your main responsibilities:

• Programming and development of PLC systems, primarily Siemens
• Work with SCADA systems and industrial control systems
• Testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation solutions
• Simulation and virtual commissioning
• Participate in the entire project process – from concept and development to delivery
• Carry out installation and commissioning at the customer's site when required
• Collaborate with colleagues in areas such as design, project management, and production

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Have completed a university college degree or university engineering degree in automation, power engineering, electrical engineering, or similar technical fields
• Have at least three years of experience working as an Automation Engineer or similar role
• Have experience with PLC programming, preferably in Siemens or Beckhoff
• Have experience with SCADA or other industrial control systems
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)

It is meritorious if you have experience with robot programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting in industrial automation, machine optimization, or design in electrical or mechanical engineering. Experience from industries such as energy, pharmaceuticals, food, or medtech is also considered meritorious.

This is a consultancy assignment, which means that initially you will be employed by Friday before transitioning to a direct employment with the client company.
