ABOUT THE ROLE:
In this role, you will have a varied and practical workday where you work both in-house and on-site at the customer's location. As a Test and Service Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning, service, support, installation, and troubleshooting of machinery and automation equipment.
Every project is unique, and you will have the opportunity to work on customized solutions together with experienced colleagues within automation. Most assignments take place in Sweden, but international travel may occur. The role also involves significant customer contact, which is why we are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating, building trust, and finding solutions together with the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Perform service, troubleshooting, and operational maintenance of automation equipment
- Participate in testing, verification, and documentation of technical solutions
- Assist in the installation, assembly, and commissioning of special machinery
- Identify and document deviations and contribute to improvements during testing
- Participate in requirement and design reviews together with the project team
- Contribute to project deliveries and collaborate with colleagues in automation, design, and aftermarket
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
- Have completed a vocational college or university degree in mechatronics, automation, electrical engineering, or equivalent
- Have a strong technical interest and want to develop within automation and industrial solutions
- Have experience with PLC systems, such as Siemens or Beckhoff
- Have experience with troubleshooting, installation, or commissioning in an industrial environment
- Hold a valid B-driver's license
- Can communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, as these languages are used in daily work
It is an advantage if you have experience from, for example, the automotive, nuclear power, or pharmaceutical industries. Experience with robot programming, machine optimization, electrical installation, or work as a machine operator is also considered an advantage.

You have a solution-oriented approach and enjoy working practically with technical challenges. As a person, you are communicative, self-initiating, and have an easy time collaborating with both customers and colleagues. You are motivated by developing, learning new things, and contributing to creating smart and efficient solutions.
ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:
This is a consultancy assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client's and our side is that you will subsequently become a permanent employee at the client company.
