The Community Building Unit has over 20 employees and is primarily located in the municipal building in Bromölla, but also at the Bromölla municipal recycling center. The areas of work cover the entire community building process, from overarching strategic levels to operational detail levels. We work with, for example, comprehensive planning, detailed planning, land and exploitation, streets/traffic, lighting, parks and green planning, mapping/measuring/GIS, waste, recycling centers, and environmental strategic work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a landscape architect in Bromölla municipality, you play a key role in the development of the municipality's green structure and public environments. You work both strategically and operationally to plan, design, and develop parks, playgrounds, and other public spaces from early ideas and overarching strategies to construction and handover to the managing organization.

You lead smaller construction projects from start to finish and contribute your specialist expertise to larger construction and development projects. In this role, you handle issues related to municipal forests and tree stands, biodiversity, climate adaptation, and invasive species. Through active monitoring of the external environment and a proactive, future-oriented approach, you help drive Bromölla municipality's green strategic development.

The work involves preparing budget proposals, leading collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and developing design ideas based on safety, comfort, environment, climate, and social sustainability. You analyze existing environments, identify development needs, and produce well-founded design proposals with clear goals. The role also includes investigative work, for example, related to political motions and initiative matters.

In Bromölla municipality, you will work broadly throughout the community building process and have real influence over the design of the living environment for the residents of Bromölla. You collaborate closely with competent colleagues such as planning architects, environmental strategists, street engineers, and GIS engineers.

The position is under development following a reorganization, which gives you great opportunities to influence, develop, and put your mark on the role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is engaged, responsible, and development-oriented with a solution-focused approach. You have a desire to continuously improve the organization in line with new demands and needs in the external environment. You value good service and have the ability to create trusting relationships, both internally and externally.

You have a good understanding of your assignment and can independently plan and structure your work based on the organization's goals, priorities, and needs.

You have a university degree as a landscape architect or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent. The position requires good design skills and a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and how you contribute to the work group.

Previous experience working in municipal administration is an advantage. You generally have good IT skills; training in relevant systems will be provided at the workplace. A B driver's license is required.
