What we are looking forWe are now looking for an experienced Automation Engineer for assignments with our client in MalmöJob responsibilities in this assignmentIn the role of Automation Engineer, you will primarily work in project form, which involves many contacts with customers and suppliers and close collaboration with other departments internally, which in turn requires the ability to work cross-functionally. It also includes preparing quotes based on customer-specific orders. The work requires technical knowledge, and you need to be hands-on and technically skilled. You will participate in conducting internal tests and, in some cases, FAT during deliveries

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role as an Automation Engineer
• Good programming skills in PLC (Siemens TIA portal) and/or Codesys.
• Experience in new development and improvement work within machine manufacturing
• Experience working with Machine Safety
• Experience with Vision systems or similar
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Experience with drive systems (servo/step motors)
• Experience with Modbus TCP, OPC UA, Profinet, HTML 5
• Experience with Bosch Rexroth CtrlX and/or EVER systems

The role includes approximately 20–40 travel days globally. Travel is done in connection with installation and service assignments at end customers.
