As a test engineer, you will be a central part of our client's mechanics team, which currently consists of four test engineers focused on mechanics and two individuals working with embedded/software. The mechanics team largely consists of senior employees, which means that the role is also suitable for junior test engineers with the right technical foundation and a desire to develop. There are good opportunities for support and guidance in daily work. Together, you will work closely with their Automotive customers who are in an exciting and expanding phase related to electrification.

The role is broad and varied, combining practical lab work with analytical and administrative tasks. You will plan and conduct tests in a lab environment, document and report results, and work closely with production technology on practical aspects related to test equipment. The role also involves handling and understanding PLC systems and test setups, as well as the opportunity to participate in testing related to electrified systems.

You will for example:

• Read, interpret, and write test requirements
• Plan and conduct tests in a lab environment
• Document and report test results, both in writing and verbally
• Participate in practical aspects related to test equipment and production technology
• Work with PLC systems and test setups
• Contribute to testing related to electrified systems

• Have relevant education in mechanics, electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Mechanical and practical understanding is central to the role
• Basic knowledge of production technology and PLCIt is a merit if you:

• Have experience working in a lab environment within Automotive
• Basic knowledge of production technology and PLC
• Programming experience, for example in Python, is a plus but not a requirement

Furthermore, great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who is practical, meticulous, and solution-oriented and who enjoys working both independently and in a team.

This is a consultancy assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday. The employment is temporary and lasts for 6 months with a possible extension.

This position may require you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
