About the Role

Vattenfall Services Stationer Project continues to move forward and is now seeking more colleagues with expertise and experience in control systems. Our assignments are largely total contracts, and we are looking for someone with experience working in project organizations. You will be an important part of creating the best conditions for our Project Managers and project organizations, which involves a high focus on safety, good progress, engagement, and quality. Our hope is that with your background and experience, you will be a significant contribution to our operations and generate further opportunities in collaboration with our employees, customers, and suppliers.

Within our Business Area, we carry out projects and deliver comprehensive solutions for electrical and control equipment for substations and hydropower plants. Our customers are primarily electricity network companies and hydropower producers. Our delivery includes, in addition to electrical and control equipment, project management, construction, earthworks, design, programming, configuration, assembly, and commissioning. Working safely in all aspects is a given within Vattenfall Services.

Your Role

As a Specialist, you contribute your expertise in control systems. The focus will be on our large substation projects at voltage levels of 130kV to 400kV. You will have the support of Vattenfall Services' competent specialists, employees, and established subcontractors.

Main Responsibilities:

• Be a technical specialist resource within your area of expertise and support colleagues within the project organization and operations
• Participate in bid preparation together with the appointed Project Manager and Bid/Business Support
• Assist in the procurement of services and materials in consultation with Purchasing, Project Managers, and Bid/Business Support
• Support project managers in construction meetings and negotiations with customers or subcontractors
• Ensure that the organization and working methods are appropriate through proactive planning and participation
• Based on your background and experience in driving projects, contribute to the continued development of colleagues and the organization
• Actively take responsibility for keeping yourself updated in your specialist area
• Develop standardized working methods that are adapted to the operations

Requirements Specification

We are looking for someone who has the ability to drive their work forward in an independent and efficient manner, while also being good at continuously communicating and informing others. You have business acumen and are goal- and result-oriented. Your working style is characterized by structure, good collaboration, sound judgment, and acting in accordance with goals and guidelines with a strong focus on safety.

To be successful in the role, we see that you need:

• Documented experience in driving assignments related to control systems
• Experience in preparing and reviewing bids
• Good knowledge of industry guidelines and regulations
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driving license B

We consider it an advantage if you also have:

• Experience in electrical design for hydropower plants

Location

We are open to stationing at any of our establishments in Sweden, which stretch from north to south. In the role, you will primarily support the operations from your office, but travel may occur. Please indicate your preferred location in your application.
