About the Role

As an automation technician, you play a central role in developing and working proactively, improving, and troubleshooting maintenance in the areas of automation and control & regulation.

You contribute to optimizing operational efficiency, increasing safety, and improving performance and production availability.

You participate in maintenance efforts related to automation and process-related IT equipment within production facilities and drive, together with your colleagues, the development and maintenance of our automation systems.

Your tasks include:

• Installing and configuring automation equipment (PLC, HMI, sensors, robots)
• Programming and troubleshooting control systems (e.g., SCADA)
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
• Analyzing and addressing operational disturbances
• Participating in improvement and efficiency projects
• Documenting systems, changes, and troubleshooting
• Collaborating with production, maintenance, and engineers
• Ensuring that work complies with applicable safety regulations

You support your own and other departments and conduct training to maintain, expand, or change professional competence.

Who You Are

You have an education in automation, electrical engineering, or equivalent. You have knowledge of PLC programming and an understanding of electrical and control technology. To succeed in this role, you need basic IT and networking knowledge as well as the ability to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation.

You are also:

• Detail-oriented and quality-conscious
• Self-driven and enjoy solving problems, either independently or with others
• Flexible in your mindset as well as your working methods
• Genuinely interested in interacting and building good relationships with those you meet

Conditions

The position is a full-time employment. Start is immediate and in agreement with the selected candidate. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays. The final candidate will undergo a background check as the role is security classified.
