Mechanical Engineer with a focus on design for world-leading Boliden Bergsöe in Landskrona

Boliden Bergsöe in Landskrona is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who wants to help develop Europe’s most sustainable lead recycling facility.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine your technical background with your practical interest in working and improving “where it happens” – out in production. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that design, technical documentation, and drawing materials are of high quality, all to ensure safe and efficient production. You play a key role in both daily operations and future projects where sustainability and innovation are central.

Your responsibilities include:

• Design work and updating of drawing materials (mechanical and P&IDs)
• Document management and archiving
• Participation in investment and project planning
• Ensuring correct technical information in maintenance systems
• Procurement documentation in consultation with production and purchasing managers
• Planning of maintenance stops together with production technicians

Your profile:

You have a strong interest in technology and relevant education, preferably a bachelor's degree in engineering, as well as experience in design within the process or manufacturing industry. You also have documented knowledge of CAD (2D/3D) and have worked with maintenance systems, as well as a good understanding of regulations such as the CE directive. A driver's license (B) is required.

As a person, you are structured, responsible, and solution-oriented. You have a hands-on attitude and a desire to contribute to continuous improvement in production. You also have the ability to identify and solve problems in production and see improvement potential.

Furthermore, you are comfortable working both independently and in teams, and you are skilled at communicating in both Swedish and English. The role requires good collaboration skills at all levels, both internally and externally.

About the position:

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement. On-call duty may occur. Placement in Landskrona.
