Welcome to us at E.ON – and become part of the energy transition. In collaboration with our customers and partners, we ensure that electricity and heat are produced, used, and recycled smarter. If you have passion and believe in the power of working together, E.ON is the place for you.

About us Do you want to work in a team where collaboration, care, and development are at the center? As a Process Accountant, you will be part of our Process Accounting team within Accounting, Treasury & Insurance, a group belonging to the Finance Nordics department. We work across all business areas and have a close collaboration with the business and our colleagues in Europe. Together, we create accounting processes that are secure, efficient, and sustainable - and we do this by sharing knowledge, supporting each other, and helping out when needed.

About the position In the role of Process Accountant, you will work with both ongoing accounting and the development of our financial processes. You play an important role in several central aspects of accounting and reporting and collaborate closely with colleagues in different parts of Finance. In your daily work, you will work with process-driven accounting in several business areas while participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and contributing to the work with annual reports and other financial reporting in SAP.

You will handle recurring accounting activities, including those related to HR entries, and maintain ongoing dialogue with both HR, TAX, and other parts of the business regarding accounting issues. The role also involves close collaboration with our Shared Service Center in Romania, where you together ensure that our processes run smoothly and securely.

In addition to daily tasks, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving, simplifying, and digitizing our financial processes, preferably through digital tools such as QlikSense, Power Automate, Copilot, and other system supports. The role combines recurring tasks that create structure and stability with periods where you can work more creatively with development, digitization, efficiency, and new working methods. You will primarily work in SAP, Adra, Capego, but also other systems that support our financial flows.

Your experiences We are looking for someone with a solid foundation in accounting who thrives in a role where accuracy, collaboration, and a willingness to develop go hand in hand. We believe you have several years of experience in accounting or closing work and an education in finance or accounting. If you have also worked in a larger organization or group, we see it as an advantage. It is also valuable if you have experience working in SAP or other financial systems. We would like you to have an interest in digitization and enjoy simplifying and streamlining processes using new digital tools and modern working methods. To succeed in the role, it is important that you feel comfortable expressing yourself in English as you collaborate with colleagues in several countries.

As a person, you are attentive, analytical, and considerate in your way of collaborating. You enjoy creating order and clarity and value a work environment where knowledge is shared and where people help each other succeed. You contribute stability and engagement in daily life while having a curious and open attitude towards development, digitization, and new working methods that can make our processes even better.

What is it like with us? With us, you will meet a warm, supportive, and inclusive team. We have a close dialogue, help each other, and create a work environment where it is easy to thrive. We laugh together, lift each other up, and care for a safe culture where everyone gets to speak.

Ulrika, your manager, leads with trust, care, and attentiveness. She believes in self-leadership and that you develop best when you are trusted to take responsibility and work in your own way. At the same time, she is close by when you need support, guidance, or want to bounce ideas.

At E.ON, we actively work with inclusion - it is crucial to drive the energy transition forward. We want you to feel welcome! We strive to create a safe work environment with meaningful tasks and good opportunities for development. We continuously challenge ourselves to create a welcoming workplace, where we hope you will thrive.

We work for a more sustainable energy society, but it is equally important that our employees have the conditions to care for their personal sustainability. Therefore, we offer good benefits for you to feel good and have a good balance between work and leisure. Some of these are a shorter working time that is higher than the industry standard, health insurance, free healthcare, and more!

Warmly welcome to apply and join us on the road to a sustainable society! The application deadline is XX XX.
