The position refers to a role within a global defense and security company operating in aerospace, land, and maritime defense, civil security, and commercial aviation technology. In this technology-oriented role, no two days are alike; you will work on a project basis with a mix of theoretical and practical elements. You will work in an area of machine systems that deals with how water and air flows are transferred. As the system owner, you will set requirements for the systems and follow your system through the entire chain from development -> outfitting -> preparation -> production -> commissioning -> verification. Your work will involve calculations and dimensioning. You will have a coordinating and unifying role in the work with your systems. Process technology is a central part of dimensioning the systems to meet the requirements and function together with adjacent systems.

Collaboration with other departments and professions will permeate the work to develop technical solutions for a safe and functional product.

Your main responsibilities:

·       Be responsible for your system's functionality throughout the development process

·       Develop system solutions that meet requirements

·       Write technical specifications

·       Carry out system commissioning

·       Verify requirements with suppliers or on the final product

·       Act as a subject matter expert

·       Train users in the systems

·       Participate in maintenance projects

Travel within Skåne/Blekinge may occur in this role.

• Has a master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Has at least a couple of years of experience in calculations and dimensioning
• Has previous experience in process technology and commissioning of equipment
• Has fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work
