Your role

As an internal communicator at E.ON responsible for internal digital communication, you will have overall responsibility for the Nordic part of E.ON Group's intranet and other internal digital channels, such as digital screens. The role is placed within the Corporate Communication team and combines strategic development work with operational implementation, involving close collaboration with the global communication team, other parts of the communication organization such as Brand and Public Affairs, our business areas, and IT.

You will contribute to developing our internal communication and ensure that our internal digital channels are relevant, user-friendly, effective, and contribute to increased engagement, knowledge, clarity, and impact in communication.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to maintaining high quality and relevance in our internal communication
  • Having strategic and operational overall responsibility for the Nordic part of the Group's global intranet
  • Driving the development of user experience, navigation, and functionality on the intranet platform in close collaboration with global colleagues within Group Corporate Communication and IT
  • Being responsible for digital screens as a communication channel, including content strategy and operational management
  • Developing and managing channel strategy, structure, content strategy, and tone in digital channels
  • Ensuring high quality in content, language, and storytelling – from news and management communication to change and operational communication
  • Producing, editing, and publishing content (text, images, videos) and providing editorial and communicative support to the organization
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the effectiveness of the channels through statistics and user insights
  • Being responsible for and driving the Nordic network of content owners, editors, and administrators publishing on the intranet
  • Keeping track of trends and best practices in internal digital communication and translating them into practice, contributing knowledge and inspiration to the organization.

Your experience

We are looking for someone who is both analytical and creative, with the ability to see the big picture but also take responsibility for the details. You are structured, self-driven, and thrive in the intersection of strategy, technology, and content.

We see that you have:

  • A degree in strategic communication, media and communication studies, or equivalent
  • Many years of experience in communication focusing on internal communication, digital channels, preferably in a larger or international organization
  • Documented excellent ability to write, edit, and adapt content for different target groups and channels
  • Experience with intranets, CMS tools, and digital signage
  • A strong understanding of how internal and digital communication can support business goals, change initiatives, and employee engagement
  • A pronounced interest in developing and improving internal digital communication over time, as well as experience in setting goals and tracking KPIs
