Job Description
As a Hardware Engineer, you will have a broad and varied role with significant technical responsibility in electronics design. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with other engineers in electronics and embedded systems, where you contribute technical solutions and are an important part of bringing products all the way from idea to finished solution.

In this role, you will work with circuit board design, including schematic design and PCB layout, as well as developing electronics for microprocessor or FPGA-based solutions. You will support production during startup, ensure quality through testing and verification, and may also have dialogue with customers or take on simpler project responsibilities as needed.

The projects are primarily driven in-house in Lund and are often carried out in smaller, cohesive teams where you are involved throughout the entire development process – from early concepts and architecture to verification and production start. In some projects, work may also take place at the customer's site, depending on the nature of the assignment.

In summary, the role of Hardware Engineer means that you:

• Work with electronics design from idea to finished product
• Perform circuit board design (schematics and layout) and develop and test prototypes
• Support production with testing, quality assurance, and manufacturing preparation

To succeed as a Hardware Engineer, you have a relevant engineering degree in electronics or a related field. You have knowledge of circuit board design and PCB layout and are proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.

As a person, you are technically curious and enjoy delving into complex problems. You are responsible, have a consultative approach, and feel comfortable engaging in dialogue with both colleagues and customers.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree in electronics or equivalent
• Knowledge of circuit board design and PCB layout
• Swedish and English proficiency, spoken and written

• Experience with MCU, MPU, FPGA, radio, sensors, or power electronics
• Experience with rapid prototyping, volume production, and industrialization
• Personal interest in technology or technical projects alongside work/studies

They work on a project basis, primarily in-house, and assist clients in areas such as medical technology, environmental technology, industry, automotive, and consumer products.

The business started in 2001 and has since grown organically. During the 2000s, the company was a significant supplier in the telecommunications industry and has since broadened its offerings to several technology-intensive areas. Today, they work broadly with product development across various industries and manage both comprehensive projects and selected parts of the development process.

The team consists of engineers in electronics and embedded systems. They work in a technology-oriented and creative office in central Lund, with their own lab facilities in-house and an environment characterized by close proximity between colleagues and short decision-making paths.
