We at Nordic Sugar are now looking for a Measurement Technician/Repairer – join us and help ensure operational reliability in one of Sweden's most exciting production environments

We are now looking for a Measurement Technician/Repairer for our Technical Service department at Nordic Sugar in Örtofta. Here we work together to ensure that our production facilities operate efficiently, safely, and sustainably. In this role, you will have a central function where you work both practically and analytically. You will contribute to developing and improving our machine and production systems through measurements, analyses, and condition checks. The work is varied and involves both planned interventions and quick problem-solving – often in collaboration with colleagues from different parts of the organization. During the beet campaign period (September-January), the work is more intensive and involves being out in the facility actively working with measurement and analysis. The work environment is varied and can involve working in different types of environments – from tight spaces to high heights. We place great emphasis on safety and risk assessment, and you will be supported by an engaged team. Regular working hours are daytime with the possibility of flexible hours. On-call duty and weekend work may occur periodically. During the campaign, work on a 4-shift schedule may occur. The position is a permanent employment and reports to the head of Technical Service.

Main responsibilities:

· Perform measurements and condition checks of machinery and production equipment

· Carry out alignment and balancing of machines

· Document measurement results and analyze outcomes

· Work with assembly, disassembly, and repair of equipment

· Inspect lifting devices and ensure functionality

· Suggest and implement improvement measures

· Participate in development and change projects

· Together with the team, be responsible for maintenance and improvements of process equipment

· Participate in the further development of preventive maintenance at the facility

Your background

· High school diploma with a practical focus, such as in construction, electrical, or technical fields

· Experience as a repair technician in heavy industry, preferably with fieldwork, service vehicles, heavy lifting, or larger machinery

· A practical approach and curiosity – you like to understand how things work and are not afraid to find out

· Good computer skills

· Experience with SAP is an advantage

· Education in measurement technology, such as vibration analysis, is an advantage
