Our operations lab serves as a support function for production with analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, as well as contributing to solving operational problems. The lab consists of a team of 8 people, organized under the quality department. We analyze finished products and various intermediates from our factories. Most of our recurring tasks have been divided into different analysis stations that we rotate between. Analytical methods used in the lab include chromatography, titration, spectrophotometry, particle size distribution, and color measurement.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring that ongoing routine tasks are performed according to customer needs and expectations and that assignments are handled according to established management systems.

Main job responsibilities include independently performing routine analyses according to applicable procedures and instructions, compiling, evaluating, and reporting your results in various LIMS and business systems.

You will also work with:

  • Participating in and independently performing assignments related to safety, health, and environment.

  • Continuous improvements within the department.

  • Independently performing instrument maintenance.

  • Participation in analysis work of a non-routine nature, method & technology development, and validations.

The position includes staggered working hours, approximately 1 Sunday per month.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with quality control in a lab environment. You have a high school diploma and post-secondary education in a relevant field such as chemistry, or you have acquired equivalent knowledge through several years in a laboratory environment.

As a person, you are practical, independent, open, and have a genuine interest in laboratory work. You find routine tasks motivating and enjoyable. Service-mindedness, a sense of responsibility, quality awareness, and attention to detail are important traits for you to succeed and thrive in our organization. Since the tasks in the lab are solved in a team, it is important that you understand the whole and enjoy working together with others towards the organization's established goals. You should have a positive and solution-focused attitude as problems that need to be solved arise.

Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is also a requirement.
