Are you curious about how potatoes turn into perfect French fries and chips? Do you want to combine mechanical design with process engineering development? Rosenqvists Food Technologies is now looking for a Development Engineer who wants to be part of the continued growth journey.

As a Development Engineer at Rosenqvists Food Technologies, you will be part of our R&D team where mechanical engineering meets food processes. Here you will work with the big picture and develop technical solutions that make a difference - from sketch to finished process equipment in factories around the world. You will contribute both in design, theoretical calculations, and practical testing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in process design, prototypes, testing, and commissioning of equipment.
• Design and construct machine and process equipment for food lines.
• Perform calculations in strength, material selection, dynamics, and thermal analysis.
• Apply CFD simulations to optimize flows, heat transfer, and temperature profiles.
• Collaborate with project managers, electrical/automation, production, and service.

We are looking for someone with an engineering background in mechanical engineering, energy technology, process technology, or equivalent, and experience in mechanical design. You have a few years of experience from the process industry or food technology.

To succeed in this role, we believe you are curious, analytical, and creative with a desire to understand how design and process affect product quality. You are a team player who enjoys cross-functional collaboration, but also driven and structured in your work.

As the role involves many contact points both internally and externally, you need to speak fluent Swedish and English.

The position is located in Kristianstad.
