ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an experienced Automation Engineer passionate about optimizing and developing highly automated production environments? Do you want to work in a dynamic organization where innovation and quality are at the core? Then this is your chance!

As an automation engineer, you will be the electrical and automation technology specialist within The Absolut Company in Åhus. You will be responsible for one or more machine areas where you will participate in the technical development within the electrical and automation field. You will be one of those who analyze, identify, propose, and implement continuous improvements and projects in the facility.

In this role, you will have both internal and external contacts and stakeholders, such as the production organization, machine, material and system suppliers, consultants, and authorities.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Participate in technical projects (machine and material-related)
• Propose technical solutions and continuous improvements in the business.
• Drive improvement work.
• Support the production and maintenance departments.
• Production technical development work
• Responsible for documentation and backup routines

To succeed in this role, you need to be creative, proactive, self-driven, and come up with new and exciting ideas. You see untested angles, have a strategic approach, and are an analytical and thoughtful problem solver who makes rational, realistic, and sound decisions.

We are looking for someone who has

• Secondary education in electrical and automation. A Bachelor's degree is an advantage.
• Several years of experience as an automation engineer in the manufacturing industry.
• Multiple years of experience participating in or driving project work.
• Good knowledge of improvement work (TPM, LEAN)
• Experience working in digital maintenance systems
• Driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish and English
