Your Role

Saab is a leading provider of marine systems, our submarines built for the Swedish Navy in top-class technology. The demand for systems for operations and monitoring on the seabed has increased in recent years, and we are now looking for more employees who want to contribute to the world's most modern submarines.

We are now seeking driven electrical designers who want to contribute to the development of production documentation for advanced projects within the submarine industry. With us, you will be part of a dedicated team where collaboration is key, and together we create innovative solutions in detailed design.

Furthermore, we work cross-functionally with our adjacent areas of expertise to ensure the functionality and installation of the design in the submarine. Travel to our facility in Karlskrona may occur in this role.

Your Profile

We are looking for electrical designers who want to make a difference in exciting development projects. To succeed in this role, you have a relevant technical education at the university or YH/YT level and several years of experience in the field, such as an electrician. You appreciate working in an environment where both knowledge and collaboration are highly valued.

With us, you will be able to use your skills to:

Apply and develop your understanding of standards and regulations within electrical design.
Work in CAD environments, so we prefer that you have knowledge of EPlan P8.
Contribute to larger development projects where you have the opportunity to make a real difference.
Collaborate with colleagues in different roles and contribute to mutual knowledge exchange. Experience working in cross-functional teams is an advantage.

It is an advantage if you have solid design experience from similar roles where you have been driving larger development projects.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, involve requirements for specific citizenship.
