We are looking for a new land manager for the Culture and Leisure Section at the Property Management Unit of City Properties. The Property Management Unit is responsible for the management and development of Malmö City's properties for schools, preschools, social housing, offices, and facilities as well as culture and leisure. The unit's mission is to provide suitable premises and outdoor environments while maintaining the functional values of the properties. Approximately 120 employees work within the unit, distributed across 7 sections managing around 600 properties. The intended position is part of the Culture and Leisure Section, which manages Culture and Leisure properties. Within the Culture and Leisure Section, we specifically manage sports fields, sports halls, outdoor baths, other leisure facilities, and cultural objects such as the City Library, the Town Hall, and Sankt Gertrud.
As a land manager, you are responsible for planning and executing the operation and maintenance of the overall outdoor environment with activity areas to ensure the functionality of the properties is upheld. Through your budget and in collaboration with users and contractors, you will plan upcoming maintenance measures. Your tasks also include providing advisory support regarding outdoor environment issues to tenants, in new construction and renovation projects. In the role of land manager, you will represent land management at meetings with operations, internal meetings, and forums concerning outdoor environments within Malmö City. You will be involved in jointly developing the management of outdoor environments at city properties with other land managers and in developing the property portfolio regarding long-term sustainable outdoor environments.
Qualifications

You also have at least 1 year of work experience in the field. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required for the position, as well as a B driver's license. We consider it an advantage if you have experience with sports areas where there are requirements from both associations and organizations, LOU, and review of drawings and construction documents. It is also advantageous if you have worked as a contractor in the industry. An interest in monitoring new environmentally friendly materials and coatings for sports activities is required.
You are expected to be able to manage your own projects and collaborate on larger projects when requested by local users. You make quick decisions and act based on these, despite limited information or difficult circumstances, and demonstrate judgment under time pressure. You easily adapt to changing circumstances, can quickly change your perspective and approach, and see opportunities in changes. You take initiative, start activities, and achieve results. You are meticulous and well aware of goals and quality standards. You set high goals for yourself and work hard to achieve them. You collaborate well with others, listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions, have the interest, will, and ability to help others, and strive to deliver solutions.
