ABOUT THE POSITION

We are now looking for a person who wants to work as a seed technician at a government agency in Landskrona. Here you will have the opportunity to work in an exciting organization and at the same time contribute to an important societal mission. In this role, you will perform practical tasks in a laboratory environment, where you handle and analyze seed and potato samples. Additionally, some administrative tasks are included, providing a varied and developing workday.

The assignment is a consultancy position running from January 7, 2026, to December 18, 2026. The scope is about 50% with some variation depending on the season and needs, which is why we are looking for someone who is studying at least 50% or has another main occupation of at least 50%.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform sampling at seed facilities of seed-bearing crops and potatoes.
  • Conduct inventories, including soil sampling in the field where seeds are grown.
  • If necessary, participate in tasks related to field operations, such as field inspections and coordination of field inspections.
  • Pack and send samples.
  • Administrative tasks such as documenting actions, reporting time, and customer contacts.
  • Work according to established routines to ensure high quality in the controls.
  • Contribute to efficiency and continuous development of processes.

The tasks above are examples of the scope of the assignment, which means that more tasks may be added.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Is studying a post-secondary education of at least 50% or has another main occupation of at least 50%.
  • Has knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
  • Has at least one year of work experience from similar work or has started a post-secondary green education.
  • Can communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Studied a program focused on plant or natural sciences.
  • Experience of practical work in a laboratory.
