JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The unit's mission is to investigate the needs of children and young people for protection and support, as well as to follow up on interventions. This includes open interventions as well as placements in HVB homes, SIS institutions, and temporary placements.

The work is carried out independently, together with a colleague and with the support of a team leader. This means planning, processing, and documenting cases, as well as leading meetings and coordinating work with others. It requires skill in communicating and collaborating with children, young people, and their families, as well as colleagues and partners. Society and children's needs are changing, which requires openness to learn new things, develop oneself, and the working methods of the unit.

For this position, a police record extract is required. This will ONLY be requested from the final candidate in the last step of the recruitment process.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. Previous experience is an advantage.

To succeed in your role as a social worker, you will work to follow statutory requirements, policies, and instructions, as well as adhere to set timelines. You possess the ability to see what needs to be prioritized and organized, are efficient, and use resources to achieve results in the best possible way. You work legally secure and have good judgment.

You are good at working both independently and collaboratively, you are perceived as stable, easily build trust, and always strive to provide a good response. You find it easy to create and maintain good relationships and collaborate well with people in various contexts and functions.

You have a good initiative and understand spoken and written communication well. You have good documentation skills and can express yourself verbally and in writing. You adapt your language to different situations and functions.

You have experience with BBIC (children's needs in focus) and SoS (signs of safety).

A driver's license and good driving experience are required for the position.
