The Department of Individual and Family Care in Sandviken Municipality has a functionally divided organization. Within the department's area of responsibility, there is child and youth care, addiction care, financial assistance, and family law, as well as processing alcohol permits and strategic work in the areas of public health and safety and ANDTS. The department has a well-developed open care for children, young people, and their families, as well as for adults.

We are now looking for a specialist social worker for our foster home group!

The foster home group is looking for an experienced foster home secretary who wants to contribute with security, competence, and an unpretentious leadership. You will join a group that is stable and inclusive. The foster home group is part of the Foster Home and Family Law Unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The foster home group is responsible for recruiting, investigating, and supervising foster homes, emergency homes, contact families, and contact persons. We work closely with social workers to find the best contractors for our children and youth.

As a specialist social worker in the foster home group, you will work closely with everyday support to the employees in the group. Your role includes sharing your experiences and knowledge, being a methodological support in various processing processes, and being active in cases where your colleagues need support and guidance. As a specialist social worker, you will collaborate closely with the responsible unit manager and the other specialist social workers within the organization.

Collaboration is a core value for us as we work closely with other units.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a social worker with several years of experience working with foster homes. Experience in leadership, special assignments, and Signs of Safety is an advantage.

You are confident in yourself and feel comfortable taking a leading role in the work group. It is of great importance that you, through your personality and competence, can help create security in the work group and contribute to qualitative work. We expect you to be an empathetic person who wants to work purposefully so that both you and your colleagues can thrive and enjoy working together. The work with us requires and offers flexibility. We believe it is beneficial if you have a good ability to structure and focus, as it is in the nature of the job that things occasionally happen that test employees' stress levels and patience. You find collaboration both internally and externally important and natural.

To work with us, you must also have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. A B driver's license is a requirement. We also place great emphasis on your personal suitability, especially your security, maturity, and ability to contribute to an open, permissive, and learning work climate.
