Treatment Pedagogue for Adult Unit and LSS

The Adult Unit and LSS is a workgroup divided into two teams.

There are ten employees in the adult unit and ten employees in LSS. Each team has a team leader. The workplace is located in central Hudiksvall, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. Due to the introduction of a new social services act, the Social and Care Administration is currently undergoing an organizational change. The purpose of the change is to organize ourselves more target group-oriented. Decisions about the new organization will be made in June 2025, and by January 1, 2026, the new organization should be in place. For the adult unit and LSS, there will not be any major changes.

Job Responsibilities

One of our social workers is on parental leave, and we now want to strengthen our team with a treatment pedagogue who is interested in making a difference. With us, you will work with adults who have dependency issues and with individuals who are victims of violence.

In line with the new social services act, we work motivationally and outreach to create sustainable changes. The role involves both conversational support and practical tasks, where you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise and commitment to an important social mission. The work requires good collaboration with other units within the administration and with external actors. The work is often varied, sometimes challenging, but always meaningful.

The unit's employees are engaged individuals driven by making a difference with their work. You also have proximity to managers and administrators. The introduction is tailored to your needs and will provide you with all the tools you need for the job. We work with ongoing case supervision. Your Profile

Treatment pedagogue or equivalent education. You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. You take responsibility for your tasks, plan, structure, and drive your cases forward. You work towards goals and focus on results. Furthermore, you contribute to the development of the work and have a holistic perspective. You work well with other people and communicate clearly. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy collaborating with other professionals, always with the individual in focus. We continuously work to develop the operations, and the person we are looking for should be involved and contribute to development and feel engaged in the change work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A driver's license with driving experience is required.
