The Adult Support and Disabilities Unit is seeking employees for case management primarily according to SoL (Social Services Act) for the elderly, but case management according to LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) may also become relevant in the future. The unit belongs to the municipality's area of operations Support and Care and is responsible for providing support to adults and children based on applicable legislation.

Your Mission

You will work in a close-knit team with colleagues, coordinators, and a manager who support you in your work. The group consists of 5 assistance officers who handle cases for the target group, the elderly, social psychiatry, and disabilities according to SoL and LSS, as well as three social workers who handle cases according to SoL and LVM. The unit also includes social services' outpatient care for adults with practitioners who implement decisions on internal measures.

As an assistance officer, you will primarily work with investigation, assessment, decision-making, and follow-up of measures according to SoL and LSS. During case management, you will have close collaboration internally with various functions but also externally with authorities and other actors. We use the operational system Lifecare and handle cases according to IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus). The work also includes environmental monitoring to stay updated on legal practices and news within various legal frameworks.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for someone with a degree in social work or other education that the employer deems equivalent. We prefer candidates with previous experience as an assistance officer. We want you to have an interest in and good knowledge of SoL and LSS legislation and legal practices in the field, as well as experience in public authority exercise. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. Computer skills and a B driver's license are required.

Personal Qualities

The tasks require a high level of personal responsibility, flexibility, and initiative. We also want you to have good collaboration skills and personal suitability for the profession.

Scope of Employment

The position is a permanent employment at 100%.

Selection and contact may occur continuously. We offer a wellness allowance of 2000 SEK and the possibility of vacation exchange. In dialogue with the manager, there may be an opportunity for remote work part of the time. We strive for a balanced gender distribution in our operations.
