A Job Close to Life and Death

As a customer advisor, you build trust and confidence with our clients and are the guide in a time that for many is filled with sorrow and uncertainty. Working with funerals is varied, eventful, and requires a good understanding of people's different needs. You take overall responsibility for planning and adapting the ceremony according to the client's needs and wishes while always having the support of colleagues who are close at hand. Some of the tasks include:

• Meeting relatives and providing advice on planning and conducting the funeral ceremony, including choices of ceremony type, coffins, urns, and other details
• Preparing cost estimates, managing invoicing and payments
• Coordinating and liaising with external suppliers such as florists, churches, and authorities
• Acting as a representative in churches and chapels during ceremonies
• Handling the deceased during pickups, personal farewells, and preparations for the ceremony
• Providing support and practical guidance to relatives throughout the funeral process, from the first meeting to follow-up.

At the district offices in Gävle, Uppsala, Borlänge, Falun, Söderhamn, and Bollnäs, we are looking for a colleague based in Gävle. Since the position is mobile, you will move throughout the district and help us staff all offices as needed. At Fonus, we work as a team and support each other, which means you will get to work with colleagues at several different offices. An electric office vehicle is provided as an environmentally friendly means of transport.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date by agreement. Fonus applies a 6-month probationary period.

What You Bring

• Experience in customer service
• Documented experience of teamwork
• Experience working with a customer focus
• Good administrative skills and familiarity with various business systems and the Office suite
• Possess a B driver's license, access to your own car, and be comfortable driving larger vehicles
• It is an advantage if you speak multiple languages or have experience in our or related fields
