Job Description

Life Science is one of the leading players in Scandinavia, primarily working with clients in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical technology. We are now looking for someone who wants to take the next step and develop within validation with us.

As a Validation Leader at AFRY, you will be responsible for leading, planning, and executing validation activities at our clients' sites. You will also have the opportunity to coordinate a team of validation engineers and play a key role in supporting and coaching junior colleagues, which is both appreciated and valuable. Validation work mainly takes place at the client’s location, in production environments or laboratories in connection with renovations or new constructions. This can involve everything from entire production lines to individual machines or smaller laboratory equipment, but the work can also be performed internally at AFRY. The role includes planning, documenting, and executing VMP, VP, DQ, IQ/OQ/PQ, or leading validations and qualifications depending on your skills and experience.

Qualifications

To succeed and thrive in this role, we believe you have an engineering degree or a scientific degree in chemistry or biotechnology combined with at least three years of relevant experience. You have solid knowledge of GMP and can express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You work independently, structured, and meticulously, have good organizational skills, and are used to documenting your work. At the same time, you see the value in collaboration, are eager to share your knowledge, and enjoy being a mentor for more junior colleagues. A driving license (B) is an advantage, and you should be willing to commute as our clients are located throughout the Greater Stockholm area. The place of employment is Södertälje, Solna, or Uppsala.
