Caverion is making significant investments in property automation in several regions of the country - with the greatest focus on Stockholm and Uppsala. In Stockholm, our automation department is divided into two departments, located in Sollentuna, Västberga, and Södertälje, and we are now looking for a new colleague in Sollentuna.

About the Role of Automation Technician

As an automation technician, you will be a front figure for our customers and work to create smart, energy-efficient, and sustainable properties. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing control and monitoring systems that ensure operational reliability, comfort, and reduced energy consumption.

Your Responsibilities

As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible as a technical specialist primarily for commissioning in our customers' facilities. There may be some programming involved, e.g., changes and PM/ÄTA after a programmer has handed over the program for commissioning. The idea is that eventually, you will also program your own facilities that will be commissioned. The tasks vary and provide you with an exciting and developing everyday life. You are responsible for the technical solutions - focusing on high quality and customer satisfaction.

Your role includes, among other things:

Commissioning of PLC, DUC, and HMI/SCADA.
Some programming initially, with the possibility of more programming later.
Reconstruction in control cabinets and additions in installations.
Material orders.
Contact with subcontractors for installation and control cabinets.
Participation in various project meetings.
Lead or participate in coordinated functional tests and inspections.
Troubleshooting and technical support, responsible for assisting customers with operational issues and problems.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with the right attitude - the willingness to learn, the willingness to share knowledge, the willingness to be challenged, and the willingness to go the extra mile. In addition to your drive, we would like you to have:

At least two years of experience in automation with good experience in commissioning property automation systems.
Meritorious experience with brands such as Saia, Distech, Fidelix, Schneider, and Webport.
Good knowledge of various communication protocols such as Modbus, Bacnet, and M-Bus.
A structured, meticulous, and solution-oriented personality who thrives on new challenges and dynamic work.
Driver's license B.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
