Job Description

AFRY is one of the leading players in Scandinavia and works closely with clients in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical technology. We are now looking for process engineers who want to contribute to future solutions in Life Science.

As a process engineer at AFRY, you will work closely with manufacturing processes and the development of factory environments within the pharmaceutical and medical technology industry. The role involves both creative problem-solving and analytical work, where you conduct root cause analyses and drive improvement efforts. You will primarily work on-site with our clients but also participate in projects from our offices and may accompany suppliers on FAT in Sweden and Europe.

In this role, you will be a technical advisor in new and renovation projects, develop specifications and functional descriptions, conduct technical tests, analyze results, and drive improvement work. You will also work on process optimization, investigation of deviations, and the creation of instructions, documentation, qualification, and validation.

You will be part of a team of approximately 15 colleagues in Solna and Södertälje. Since our clients are located throughout Mälardalen, we prefer that you have a B driver's license and the ability to commute.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in chemistry, biotechnology, or medical technology and at least two years of experience as a process engineer in the pharmaceutical industry. You express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English and work in a structured, meticulous, and independent manner. You are communicative, have good organizational skills, and enjoy collaborating with others. Experience in leadership and the development of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) is a plus.
