Your mission

As an apparatus builder - technical assembler, you belong to a unit within the technology department. The department is responsible for providing FRA with the technical systems needed for operations. The department develops, manages, and implements new technical systems and handles the operation and maintenance of existing systems.

In the role of apparatus builder - technical assembler, you will be responsible for:

• independently assembling devices
• working with electromechanical workshop tasks (mechatronics)
• working with mechanical processing

You can

We are looking for someone who has:

• secondary education, preferably with a focus on electronics and precision mechanics
• a couple of years of experience in workshop work
• a B driver's license
• Good skills in expressing yourself both in writing and verbally in Swedish

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• experience or education in electronics
• certification for hot work
• competence in workshop technology or troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of English

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a successful security screening with a background check. The security screening will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in a war situation. We apply a six-month probationary period.
