Do you have a technical education and experience with machines, equipment, or process industry? Do you want to work practically with maintenance, troubleshooting, and material production in an innovative pilot environment? Then we have the job for you!

We are currently looking for a technician/engineer for our client in Stockholm at StudentConsulting. Our client works on developing the sustainable materials and packaging of the future together with their customers and partners.

In the role of technician/engineer, you will work with material production as well as modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment in the company's pilot park, along with related practical tasks.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Production of materials in lab and pilot scale according to assignments
  • Preventive and ongoing maintenance of equipment
  • Troubleshooting and repair of production equipment and supply systems
  • Reconstruction and modification of technical equipment
  • Improvement work and optimization of technical processes with a focus on safety, flexibility, quality, and efficiency
  • Handling raw materials and finished products, as well as taking samples and conducting tests
  • Documentation and reporting of completed work
  • Acting as a contact person towards external suppliers and contractors

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by us at StudentConsulting and work as a consultant for our client based in Stockholm. The position is planned to start on 2026-02-01 and run until 2026-06-30, with the possibility of extension. The position is full-time, and work hours are from 08:00 to 16:30.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

  • Relevant technical education
  • Several years of experience working with equipment/machines in workshops, process industry, technical operations, or similar
  • Computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Forklift license
  • Driving license B

Experience in automation or electrical engineering competence, hot work, and crane training is a merit.
