El & Marinteknik's ultimate goal is to develop solutions that drive the transition to fossil-free shipping. We design new solutions for propulsion and ship electronics that enhance efficiency and user experience in vessels.

Our Second-Life battery conversions have shown that batteries can live in multiple applications before reaching the end of their lifespan.

After a pilot project, the company has built a reputation for constructing battery packs and propulsion solutions using both new and previously used batteries. We have successfully combined range and affordability in a modular system to meet the increasingly curious market.

As we continue to grow with a dedicated project department for development, design, and construction, we are looking for El & Marinteknik's new motivated automation electrician. As a candidate, you should be interested in automation and control systems and have an understanding of electrical engineering such as electric motors, frequency converters, and how the components fit together.

What You Will Do:

· Take responsibility for quality and functionality in your own work

· Be involved in system design and development

· Work closely with our System Manager and our electricians

· Participate in defining system structure and components

· Identify, mitigate, and communicate risks in the systems

· Adhere to relevant classes and regulations

· Be a member of a great team

To be successful with us, you should likely have:

· Education or experience in automated electrical engineering

· Basic knowledge of electric motors and control systems

· Basic knowledge of batteries, chargers, converters, and connection components

· Confidence in driving tasks independently

· Well-functioning communication tools and a sense of collaboration

· Flexibility, being adaptable in a work environment with varied challenges

We are a team of 15 people who gather sharp expertise and long experience in commercial shipping and electrification. As pioneers in the segment, we aim to produce the best systems possible. We do not let ourselves be limited by outdated methods.

The full-time position as an Automation Electrician with us will be based at Nya Djurgårdsvarvet in Stockholm and will include visits to customers externally. We use the company's cars for business trips.
