Production Technician responsible for Technology & Maintenance at Cookin Food Sweden AB

Cookin Food Sweden AB is a rapidly growing food company (yes, third Gazelle award this year!), owned by PEQ Private Equity and the company's founders. We produce chilled ready meals on a large scale for travel, retail, and other industries that want to serve restaurant-quality food – quickly, safely, and with high quality. And most importantly: we are passionate about really, really good food!

We are located in modern premises in Rosersberg, perfectly situated between Stockholm and Arlanda, and offer an organization with short decision paths, a high ceiling, and lots of laughter at work. Here, initiative, responsibility, and a clear doer mentality are appreciated.

We are now looking for a Production Technician responsible for Technology & Maintenance who wants to take overall responsibility for operational reliability, property, maintenance, and technical development in a rapidly growing business.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high operational reliability, efficient working methods, and a structured, cost-optimized maintenance. You will help build working methods, processes, and system support for technology and maintenance in a rapidly growing company – and you will do it hands-on.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities

• Ensure high availability and operational reliability in production equipment and property
• Establish and develop working methods for technology and maintenance – including systems and follow-up
• Lead and develop an efficient, safe, and cost-optimized maintenance work
• Drive technical improvements, investments, and projects
• Be the main contact for suppliers of machines, equipment, and technical services
• Ensure compliance with food standards, occupational health and safety, and regulatory requirements

You will also work with

• Troubleshooting, analysis, and continuous improvements of machines and processes
• Preventive and corrective maintenance
• Optimization of production lines for increased capacity, reduced waste, and shorter downtime
• KPIs such as OEE, MTBF, MTTR, maintenance costs, and project delivery
• Training of production staff in preventive maintenance and good equipment management

Qualifications

Who are you?

You are a confident and unpretentious technician who enjoys taking responsibility, making decisions, and getting things done. You are structured, analytical, and safety-conscious – but also pragmatic and solution-oriented.

We would like you to have:

• High school education in electrical, energy, technology, or equivalent experience
• Experience as a production technician, service technician, or in automation
• Electrical certification and a B driver's license
• Good understanding of mechanics, electricity, automation, and industrial control systems
• Experience in industrial maintenance and preferably Lean/TPM
• Good Swedish and English in speech and writing

Preferred experience includes:

• Food production
• Improvement work (CI/Kaizen)
• Equipment such as Zebra, Reepack, food gas
• Leadership and team responsibility
