As a Test Engineer in medical technology, you play a crucial role in evaluating the safety and performance of a wide range of medical equipment, such as ventilators, medical robots, and X-ray equipment.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive safety testing on medical devices in strict accordance with international standards such as IEC 60601-1 or IEC 61010-1.
• Carefully compile and analyze test results and translate this critical data into clear, accurate, and professional test reports.
• As a technical point of contact, foster strong communication with both internal teams and external clients to ensure clarity and successful project outcomes.
• Thoroughly validate projects and assess the suitability of testing to optimize testing efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct thorough reviews of test reports to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with all relevant standards.

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled individual who has:

• Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering. BSEE or biomedical engineering education is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in testing: Experience with X-ray or gas-related medical equipment is highly desirable.
• Expertise in medical standards: Documented experience with medical standards, particularly IEC 60601-1.
• Knowledge of global standards: Proven experience with U.S., Canadian, and other international product safety standards (e.g., ANSI, CSA, UL, EN, IEC).
• Technical interpretation: Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, technical documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Scientific communication: Excellent ability to understand and write technical text fluently in English and Swedish.
