Job Description

The Process Control Engineer role involves taking technical responsibility for the operation and further development of automation solutions within the process industry. You will work closely with process, mechanical, electrical, and QA/QC functions, handling troubleshooting, root cause analyses, and change requests. A central part of the role is to update and ensure the quality of technical documentation such as FDS, DDS, I/O lists, risk analyses, and FAT/SAT protocols according to applicable standards. You will ensure that the systems meet requirements within GMP, GAMP5, and ATEX, and that new or modified functions are tested and verified in a structured manner.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 3 years of experience in automation within the process industry.
• Experience with IQ/OQ, FAT/SAT, validation activities, and relevant documentation.
• Work experience within GMP, GAMP5, and Life Science environments.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred qualifications:

• Technical education at the university level in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with ABB 800xA, Siemens PCS 7, Emerson DeltaV.
• Safety awareness and experience in ATEX classified environments.
• Competence in industrial networks (PROFIBUS/PROFINET, Modulebus) and OPC communication.
