About the Role

Do you want to help develop future energy solutions and contribute to strengthening Vattenfall's position in a rapidly changing market?

As a Product Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring our products are attractive, competitive, and compliant with applicable legislation. Furthermore, you are responsible for ensuring that internal processes function efficiently to support products throughout their entire lifecycle. You will have a challenging career in a fast-paced, complex, and exciting energy industry.

With us, you will become part of a Nordic team and work in close collaboration with the sales organization, customer service, IT, and several other functions within Vattenfall.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and optimize the product portfolio, with a primary focus on billing and administrative services for our Swedish customers.
  • Drive product compliance regarding regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Ensure cost-effective management of products in operational processes.
  • Support the sales organization with product expertise to ensure customer value and business results.
  • Define requirements for IT and other digital development to ensure systems support product needs efficiently.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant higher education or equivalent work experience.
  • Deep understanding of the energy market and the business of energy sales.
  • Work experience in product development or process development.
  • Analytical thinking and good problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort with analyzing product-related data.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Experience of collaborating with sales organizations is an asset.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and able to independently take ownership of your work. You enjoy collaborating with others and have a strong ability to translate customer needs into concrete and scalable product solutions. You are solution-oriented and quickly get up to speed on most issues that arise. You are curious, learn quickly, and have the ability to take initiative and take appropriate action on your own.
