Öxnehagaskolan is a K-6 school with approximately 350 students and 5 age-divided after-school departments. The school, with its fantastic view over Lake Vättern, is located on the heights of Huskvarna.

At our school, many languages are represented, and we have a language-developing approach and cooperative learning in all activities as a natural part of teaching. We work to ensure that all our students become language-aware, tolerant, good conflict resolvers, and skilled collaborators. Your New Job

To work as a crafts teacher primarily in wood and metal.

At the school, we work closely in teams, and you will collaborate with several educators.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Being responsible for the pedagogical content of the teaching.
Independently planning, conducting, and following up on classroom instruction.
Mapping students' knowledge levels and documenting their development.
Ensuring that education is conducted according to the curriculum and other governing documents.
Improving teaching together with teams or teaching colleagues.
Developing students' abilities, knowledge, and self-confidence.
Building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
Contributing to a pleasant working environment at the school that promotes learning and development during students' school days.
Mentoring for the class.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

A qualified teacher with a teaching license in crafts.
Well-grounded in the primary school’s mission and its governing documents.
Proficient in the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
Has basic IT skills.
Experience in teaching and working with students is an advantage.

We place great importance on personal suitability.
