Job Advertisement: Teacher at Hoks School
Hoks School is located in the heart of Hoks community and has just over 120 students. At Hoks School, we work based on the guiding principles of joy, safety, and respect. The school accommodates students from grades F - 5, and we collaborate with the after-school program to create a wonderful environment for our students.
We are now looking for a teacher to complement our teaching staff with an additional educator.
We are looking for someone who wants to work alongside other teachers in a student-centered approach. You will have the opportunity to build strong and positive relationships that also lead to a safe learning environment and teaching.
With us, you will work as a subject teacher and mentor at our middle school together with other educators at the school. During the term, you will be responsible for teaching grades 4 and 5. You will plan, implement, and adapt teaching creatively based on the school's governing documents and the individual student's needs.
Together with colleagues, you are expected to develop teaching and build strong positive relationships that also lead to a safe learning environment. You will work closely with the student health team.
In Vaggeryd municipality, all staff work with ÄDK, subject didactic collegium, where we all work together to constantly develop our teaching. Here, you will have the chance to discuss teaching with other teachers, test, evaluate, and test again to continually enhance students' learning.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a certified teacher with subject competence for grades 4-6 in primary school. We expect you to focus on students' learning and have a desire to contribute to increased goal fulfillment. You are a confident leader in the classroom and actively work with students' knowledge acquisition at both the individual and group levels. You find it easy to collaborate and create good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues at the school. Furthermore, you are driven, engaged, take initiative, and want to help develop the operations. We primarily seek someone with training in Swedish, but other qualifications may also be of interest.
