Mariannelunds Folk High School is now seeking a temporary teacher for the General Course as one of our staff members is going on parental leave.

About Mariannelunds Folk High School

Mariannelunds Folk High School is located in Mariannelund in Småland. The school has about 90 participants who are enrolled in the general course or various Bible courses. We are a boarding school with 80 beds that serves meals every day of the week.

Job Description

The position is in the general course, where participants work towards obtaining their high school eligibility. Many of the course participants have foreign backgrounds. The teaching team for the course works closely together and largely with subject-integrated teaching.

Qualifications

We are looking for a teacher with a positive attitude towards people, who is curious, creative, and easy to collaborate with! You are well-structured, flexible, and attentive.

We believe you have a pedagogical education. Good subject knowledge in English, Swedish, social studies, and history is an advantage, but personal suitability is more important than formal qualifications. Experience in folk education is a plus.

Employment Conditions

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment from March 2026 to June 2027.

Employment Rate: 80%

Start Date: March 1, 2026, or by agreement
