Welcome to apply for a temporary position as a preschool teacher at Förskolan Nyfiken located in Rörstorp, Värnamo.

At our preschool, we work with the competent child in focus and have confidence in the child's own and unique abilities. We work with an approach that means children learn in meetings with other children, adults, materials, and environments. The working method is based on offering all children an activity with varied teaching in many different ways and contexts. Our changing learning environments lead to increased opportunities for learning and influence among the children. We have a strong curriculum focus and care about our joint systematic quality work and our positions.

Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you have an outstanding opportunity to influence the conditions for each child's development through an exploratory and creative approach. By being present and curious about what the children are interested in, you can help create developing learning environments.

You have a pedagogical responsibility based on the guidelines of the curriculum and actively work with pedagogical planning, documentation, reflection, and analysis. The work is conducted in trust and in close collaboration with colleagues and guardians.

At Förskolan Nyfiken, we consciously work with each educator's strengths and knowledge. We keep ourselves updated and draw on relevant research, and as a preschool teacher, you have the opportunity to develop and grow together with other preschool teachers in processes, joint reflections, and meetings. All staff are offered further education and collegial learning through dialogue cafés, pedagogical forums, and process groups.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a preschool teacher education and good insight into the preschool's mission and curriculum. You have a pedagogical perspective that combines professional care and teaching. You are clear and solution-oriented and have the ability to create engagement and joy at work. Knowledge and experience of working with children who challenge a little extra is necessary. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions

We work with ongoing selection and interviews. The position is filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.
