Are you our new university lecturer in nursing who, together with colleagues and students, drives the development of teaching? At the Department of Nursing (AFO), education, research, and development work are conducted within the main subject of nursing.

The Department of Nursing educates nurses with professional degrees as well as bachelor's degrees and further education through master's degrees, district nurse degrees, or pediatric nurse degrees. The department also offers commissioned training and actively works with internationalization and collaboration with the surrounding community.

In your duties as a university lecturer in the Department of Nursing, you will primarily teach, be course responsible, and work with the development and administration of education. Teaching primarily takes place within the nursing program, but there may also be opportunities to substitute in specialist training programs. The teaching includes both theoretical and practical education as well as clinical placements. Some components of the teaching are conducted digitally and with the help of ICT in Swedish and English based on a project/problem-oriented working method. Additional tasks may also be included in your work.

As a lecturer, you are expected to stay updated on the latest evidence in the field of nursing and also integrate this into your teaching in specific areas. You are also expected to work in accordance with the governing documents that regulate higher education at both the national and local levels. In the role of university lecturer, good collaboration skills are required, as well as the ability to work both independently and in teams. Personal qualities will be highly valued.

Additional requirements for the position are that you:

• are a licensed nurse with a master's degree
• have several years of clinical experience
• have good skills in handling administrative tasks
• have good communication skills in speech and writing
• have fluent knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

It is meritorious if you have pedagogical experience.

The position is a full-time temporary position. The temporary position is valid until 2026-06-30 with a possible extension.
