Lundåkerskolan 7–9 is looking to expand with two special educators – do you want to make a real difference?

Welcome to a school where development, engagement, and belief in the future go hand in hand.

At Lundåkerskolan, you are not just an employee – you are a co-creator. Here, we work together to create the best conditions for our students and our staff. We are a school with proud traditions, strong community, and a genuine focus on students' learning and well-being.

With around 370 students, we are the largest secondary school in the municipality, characterized by diversity, curiosity, and global presence. Our youth come from all over the world and enrich our daily lives with their experiences and perspectives. Here, there is a modern digital approach where both staff and students have access to their own digital learning tools – for us, the future of teaching is already here.

A school that invests – in students, in pedagogy, and in you

For three years, we have participated in a national R&D program on inclusive learning environments, which has strengthened our competence and developed our working methods. We are now in a phase where we continue to build an organization that best meets students' needs and drives teaching forward.

We offer a workplace with:

  • modern learning environments
  • proximity to sports, swimming, and ice rinks
  • own school library and close to the municipal library
  • a large concert hall for joint events
  • shared workrooms for subject teachers to strengthen collegial learning
  • mentors who relieve subject teachers from the social aspects, allowing each teacher to focus on their teaching

Here, you have great opportunities to grow, influence, and become an important part of a professional student health team.

Your role – and why it is important

We now want to strengthen our student health work and are looking for two special educators who will work closely together in an engaged team.

As a special educator with us, you will have a central role in the school's development. You will:

  • create and develop learning environments where all students can succeed
  • work both preventively and remedially to eliminate barriers to learning
  • conduct assessments and analyze needs
  • write, follow up, and evaluate action plans
  • be an active partner to teachers, mentors, and school management
  • contribute to long-term school development together with student health

Here, you have the opportunity to make a real difference – every day.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

  • is a qualified special educator
  • is passionate about developing inclusive learning environments
  • is solution-focused and confident in your profession
  • enjoys collaborating and wants to drive development
  • has a warm, professional demeanor and high service orientation

We place great importance on personal suitability and a positive attitude. Your engagement and willingness to contribute are as important as your formal qualifications.

A criminal record extract is required prior to employment.

Do you want to help develop a school where everyone can succeed?

Then Lundåkerskolan is the place for you. We look forward to your application!
