We are looking for an engaged study and career counselor!

Are you attentive, able to read between the lines, and good at finding individual-based solutions? Then this might be the job for you. In this position, we are looking for someone who is curious about people and motivated by seeing others achieve their goals! As a study and career counselor with us, you will work both structured, independently, and creatively to identify the most suitable paths for individuals into the labor market. Your guidance will primarily consist of individual conversations, but sometimes also group activities and study visits. A meaningful and varied position where you can truly make a difference for people.

The work is carried out within the framework of the Swedish Public Employment Service's national career guidance strategy, where the goal is to increase job seekers' career competence - i.e., knowledge and understanding of themselves and different paths to the labor market. The overall purpose is to support people in making well-thought-out choices to achieve a sustainable working life in the long run.

The placement is in Nässjö or Värnamo.

• A degree from the study and career counseling program (requirement)

• Excellent communication skills in both speech and writing

• Good knowledge of the Office suite

• Is attentive, solution-oriented, and structured in your working method

• Is driven by motivating and developing people

For this position, we place great emphasis on your personal qualities. It is an advantage if you are multilingual and have experience guiding adults with disabilities or mental health issues.
